Established in 1980, Boerne Air Conditioning & Heating is a family owned and operated business serving Boerne, Texas and the surrounding Kendall County communities. Today, Boerne Air Conditioning & Heating provides AC and heating services and installations with a fleet of five full-service vans and seven dedicated employees, but their story began more than 70 years ago in the early 1950s from the humble beginnings of one man and a truck.

About Boerne Air Conditioning & Heating History

Our History

During the 1950s and 60s Grandpa Marek, affectionately known as Pipaw, ran a successful one-man plumbing & heating service called JUD Plumbing & Heating in San Antonio, Texas. After nearly 20 years of servicing the residents of San Antonio and surrounding areas at JUD Plumbing & Heating, Edward and Brenda Marek, the descendants of Pipaw, moved their family to Boerne, Texas, and established Boerne Air Conditioning & Heating.

The family roots at Boerne Air Conditioning & Heating run deep. Mark Finch, the current owner and Edward and Brenda’s son, worked as a “tool guy” alongside his dad for many years, helped run the business beginning in 1990, and officially took over as owner in 2019. Today, the entire team is very much a family – Mark’s two sons work at the company and a third of the technicians and administrative staff have all been part of the Boerne Air Conditioning & Heating family since the early 1990s.
